A cloud under the mountain
[ 設計理念 ]
住宅就像柔軟的殼，棲居庇護，如同雲朵的延伸柔軟的包覆，寄託其中，彷彿擁有天地，突破物質的機器，
無數纖維交織結構，秩序出完整場域。
業主因某次到鹿野高台著名的熱氣球嘉年華旅遊，被這樣得天獨厚的景色給深深吸引住，所以就開始找地自地自建，作為退休度假用。最後找到龍田社區，這社區位在鹿野溪的北岸，是在台東縱谷最大且最廣闊的河階上，由於早期為日本人移民村，有規劃出棋盤格般整齊道路及方正的土地，而且四面環山，景色秀麗，所以深受業主喜愛。最重要的是這塊地可以遠眺著上方鹿野高台的熱氣球及飛行傘表演。
山連延綿的地形不時會有雲朵圍繞其中，在這樣氛圍下我們提出「高台下的一朵雲」作為這棟建築的主要概念。

建築設計採用白色盒子的交錯堆疊分成了不同的空間，一樓的公共空間及房間都設計大面積的開窗，我們也在中間崁進一座泳池在建築中，也利用天井的垂直通透性來輕量弱化一樓的視覺，讓整個二樓的量體像是懸浮般的雲朵漂浮之上，也在量體堆疊的過程中創造出大露台的空間，未來可以坐在露台上觀賞遠方高台的表演及欣賞群山環繞的大自然風貌。
在建築內，想要進入每個房間都要先經過一條路徑或景觀才會進到空間內，這樣路徑看似未經安排，而目的地是自己給的答案，在米蘭昆德拉的緩慢書中提到，”我要在凝視我那個緩步走向馬車的騎士。我要好好參詳他的步伐的韻律：他愈往前，步伐愈緩慢。在這緩慢裡，我相信自己重新體認出幸福的標記。”
所謂的內部與外部，不是藉由一道牆所區隔分別出來的空間，也許我們認為的外部它其實如同內部般的感受，而內部空間反而更
為內部，哪裡開始的範圍是內部空間？從哪裡又是外部空間呢？ 外部因為有了內部的空間而界定，內與外永遠都是一個相對性的關係，當空間還有一個空間又被一個空間占據時，室內之中還有室內，而室外空間仍有室外，「之間」的關係 就因為藉由空間與空間互相的相對性而產生。
這樣的方式讓每個空間看似在一起但都互不打擾，都有屬於一種自我的隱私性，擁有專屬自己的天地，路徑純粹是對空間的一種作用，因為它平整的與大地融為一體。
[ Design Concept ]
The residence is like a soft shell, providing a habitat and shelter, resembling an extension of clouds that softly envelops.
It embodies the feeling of possessing both heaven and earth, transcending the confines of material mechanisms. Countless fibers intertwine to create a structure, establishing an orderly and complete spatial field.

By a stroke of chance, the owner visited the famous hot air balloon festival at Luye Highland in Taitung with their family and was deeply captivated by the extraordinary mountain scenery.
This led them to begin searching for land to build their own home, intended as a retirement residence for vacation use.After an extensive search, they found a plot in the Longtian community of Luye. This community is located on the northern bank of the Luye River, on the largest and most expansive river terrace in the Taitung Valley.
Longtian was originally a village for Japanese immigrants, featuring meticulously planned grid-like roads and rectangular plots of land, all surrounded by mountains with beautiful views, which greatly appealed to the owner. Most importantly, this land offers a distant view of the hot air balloons and paragliding performances above the Luye Highland.
The undulating mountain terrain is often surrounded by clouds, and in this atmosphere, we proposed the concept of "A cloud under the mountain" as the main idea for this building.

The architectural design uses the interlaced stacking of white boxes to divide it into different spaces.
The public space and rooms on the first floor are designed with large areas of windows. We also embedded a swimming pool in the middle to lightly weaken the vision of the first floor, allowing the entire second floor to float like a floating cloud.
In the process of stacking, we can also create a large terrace space. In the future, we can sit on the terrace to watch the performance of the high platform in the distance and appreciate the natural scenery surrounded by mountains.

The path seems unarranged, and the destination is the answer you give, mentioned in Milan Kundera's slowness book, "I am going to stare at my knight who is walking towards the carriage. I will carefully consider the rhythm of his pace: the more he moves, the slower he walks. In this slowness, I believe I re-recognize the mark of happiness."
The so-called interior and exterior are not spaces separated by a wall. Perhaps what we think is that the exterior actually feels like the inside, but the interior space is more internal. Where does the scope of the beginning be the internal space? Where is the external space? The outside is defined because of the internal space, and the inside and the outside are always a relative relationship. When there is still a space in the space and is occupied by another space, there is an indoor in the interior, and the outdoor space still has an outdoor. The relationship between "between" is a result of the mutual relativity between space and space. This way makes each space seem together but does not disturb each other.
