SHAPE

The essence of a living space is a "shape" formed by the gathering of daily functions. In this design, we moved away from traditional walls, choosing instead to define the public space through "frames" and "cabinetry."

We placed a geometric frame between the living and dining areas—not just to divide the space, but to create a multifunctional core that houses storage and appliances while expanding the visual horizon. By wrapping these functional elements in warm wood, we turned everyday storage into a piece of art that guides the natural rhythm of the home.

For the palette, we used grey specialty textures to bring a quiet, concrete-like purity to the walls. The contrast between the tactile grey surfaces and the rich wood elements balances the cool tones, crafting a space that feels both modern and inviting.
Through the interplay of light and shadow on the textured walls and wooden lines, the space ultimately takes on the most comfortable shape of home.
